Lovingly hand- picked at our Clevedon vineyard by family and friends on the 25th March 2023. The grapes were then whole bunch pressed resulting in salmon pink tones with a lovely depth to the colour.
The aromatics are complex, with a lovely delicacy. Peppercorn, cardamom spice with slightly under ripe plum and just ripe wild strawberries underpinned by a seam of clay mineral goodness.
The palate is supple, and there is a thought provoking yin and yang of flavour and tart acidity. The tartness threatens to take over but never does, always met by spice, flavour and fruit sweetness.

"Bright, even, pale coral. The nose is gently full with depth and elegance, penetrating with aromas of red berries, plums, blood orange, rose petals and savoury nuances. Medium-bodied, aromas of plums and red berries are concentrated, melded with rose petals, blood orange spice and a savoury, meaty quality. The fruit displays multilayers of flavour and depth; spices linger with rose petals to a long, crisp finish. Match with bresaola and beef carpaccio over the next 2-3 years. A blend of Merlot, Malbec and Cabernet Franc, fermented to 12.4% alc." Raymond Chan Wine Reviews 18.5+/20 pts (94 pts)
